Flashing 4, 5, 6 Lights
This fault means the vacuum has timed out and could be caused
by the following: Air leak in accessory kit. Or Mother was not setup
to pump within appropriate time after pump was started (must
have breast cup attached within 7 seconds of starting pump). When
encountering this problem, manually restart the pump by turning
the pump off and back on using the cycle speed/power knob (1). If
problem persists, contact Limerick as the pump may need to be
returned for repair.
Flashing 7, 8, 9 Lights
This fault means that the vacuum increased to a level higher than
expected. This can only happen if there is an internal malfunction. If
resetting does not restore normal operation, contact Limerick as the
pump may need to be returned for repair.
Flashing 10, 20 Lights
This error code means an internal malfunction has occurred. Contact
Limerick as the pump may need to be returned for repair.
Other problems that may occur
without a fault message
Situation “A”
If tubing becomes kinked or milk back flows into the filter the pump
will lose vacuum and pulsate quickly. You will either need to unkink
tubing or change the filter if milk is in the filter, as the filter cannot
be cleaned. (Filter is a safety feature that prevents milk, bacteria, and
viruses from getting into the motor of the pump.) It’s important to
remember to turn off pump first before removing breast cups from
