HDMI-TP-RX200R
Quick Start Guide
Introduction
The HDMI-TP-RX200R is a HDMI 1.3a compatible Twisted Pair receiver. It includes precise
manual, or automatic cable equalizing, which is configurable on the front panel.

HDMI-TP-TX and RX200R extender pair
Installation
1.
Connect the first display (e.g. monitor) to the HDMI OUT 1 connector,
2.
Connect the second display (e.g. projector) to the HDMI OUT 2 connector,
3.
Connect the transmitter or a compatible Lightware device

4.
Supply the unit with +12V 1A DC. The available power supply settings:

Selecting an EDID
1.
Turn the EDID address rotary switch to the desired memory.
2.
The available EDIDs are listed on the top of the device.
3.
The EDID Status LEDs provide feedback in SECONDARY (BLINKING) mode:
Red blinking:
an empty memory or invalid EDID was selected.
Green blinking: valid EDID is present at input.
4.
Now the selected EDID is reported on the DDC INPUT.
EDID Memory
The available EDIDs are listed on the top of the device (#0..#9).

Address #0 contains a copy of the last recognized monitor’s EDID from HDMI OUT 1.
▪
On the address #1 there is an UNIVERSAL EDID to support various resolutions and
embedded HDMI audio.
▪
Memory range #2..#8 is user programmable.
▪
Address #9 contains a copy of the last recognized monitor’s EDID from HDMI OUT 2.
Learning EDID
1.
Turn the Rotary switch to the desired memory address where you want to store the attached
display's EDID (between user addresses #2..#8),
2.
Connect the desired display device to the HDMI OUT 1.
3.
Press and hold the LEARN button for approximately 2 seconds,
4.
The EDID Status LEDs provide feedback in SECONDARY (BLINKING) mode:
Red blinking:
the learn process failed from HDMI OUT 1.
Green blinking: the learn process was successful from HDMI OUT 1.
Info: Without the Lightware Matrix Controller SW the TX200R can learn only from HDMI OUT 1.
