8. Firmware Upgrade

HDMI-TPS-RX110AY series – User's Manual

ATTENTION!

While the firmware is being upgraded, the normal operation mode is suspended as the

receiverisswitchedtobootloadmode.Signalprocessingisnotperformed.Donotinterruptthefirmware

upgrade. If any problem occurs, reboot the receiver and restart the process.

ATTENTION!

Thefirmwareupgradeprocesshasaneffectontheconfigurationandthesettingsofthe

device. For more details, please see the

KeepingtheConfigurationSettings

section before the upgrade.

8.1.

About the Firmware Package (LFP2 File)

ThefirmwarefilesarepackedinanLFP2package.Youneedonlythisfiletodotheupgradeonyourdevice.

8.2.

Short Instructions

Step 1.

GetthefirmwarepackandtheLightwareDeviceUpdaterv2(LDU2)application.

Step 2.

InstalltheLDU2application.

Step 3.

Establish connection between the computer and the device(s) via Ethernet.

Step 4.

StartLDU2andfollowtheinstructionsshownonthescreen.
