(direct current) voltage of your portable
electronic devices does not exceed 5 volts.
This is not a transformer and does not
provide a power switching function. Please
follow the instructions below before using
the Lifetrons Power Wave Compact Charger.
Battery
Although pre-charged and ready for use*, it
is recommended that you completely use
the initial charge up, then recharge the
product at least two more times to ensure
the best possible performance.

Limited Warranty
If within 12 months of purchase this product
or any part thereof is proven to be defective
by reason of faulty workmanship or defect in
materials, we will repair or replace the same
product free of charge of labor or materials
on condition that:
1. The original invoice or sales receipt with
the date of purchase is presented with
the defective unit.
2. Lifetrons does not take any
responsibility for lost information of any
kind and will not reimburse you for any
such loss.
3. The limited warranty is only valid if the
original proof of purchase for this product,
issued by a Lifetrons authorized dealer,
specifying the date of purchase, is
presented with the product to be repaired
or replaced. Lifetrons reserves the right
to refuse warranty service if this
information has been removed or
changed after the original purchase of
the product from the dealer.
Safety Precautions
Please follow the rules outlined in this
guide closely to ensure your safety and
flawless operation:
• Be cautious of any edges, uneven
surfaces, metal parts, accessories or
packaging to prevent possible injury or
damage. Take note that this product
should not be placed in your mouth.
• Do not modify, repair or dismantle the
product. Doing so may result in fire,
electric shock, complete breakdown of the
product, etc. and will void the warranty.
• Do not use any kind of liquid to clean the
product. Keep in mind that the surface of
the product should only be wiped with a
clean dry cloth.
• Do not use this product in locations with
high temperatures or high humidity levels
(i.e.: bathrooms); ideally, the product
should be used in a location free of
excessive dust and not exposed to direct
sunlight.
• Do not insert foreign objects or liquids into
the product; this could damage the
product.
• Do not touch this product when your
hands are wet; this could result in electric
shock.
• Refrain from dropping the product or
bumping it against other objects.
• Do not use this product in hazardous
locations.
4. A rechargeable battery can be charged
and discharged over one hundred times.
However, it will eventually wear out –
this is not a defect and corresponds to
normal wear and tear. When the
playback-time or standby time is
noticeably shorter, it is time to replace
your battery. Please do not make
repairs, modifications, or installations
without contacting an authorized
Lifetrons representative.
5. The warranty does not cover product
failures which have been caused by use
of accessories or other peripheral
devices which are not Lifetrons branded
original accessories intended for use
with the product. The warranty does not
cover any damage caused by misuse,
abuse, neglect or accidental breakage.
6. The warranty does not cover product
failures caused by modifications, repairs
or disassembly by any person not
authorized by the manufacturer.
7. Any defective unit or part shall become
property of the manufacturer.

4. After many uses, why does my FG-1019N
only backup my portable devices for a
few hours?
This is a general characteristic of Li-ion
batteries. All rechargeable batteries can
recharge and discharge around 300-500
times. From time to time (depends on how
often you use it), you will find that the
FG-1019N can support your portable
device for only a few hours and needs to
be recharged more frequently. As with
other rechargeable batteries, you may
eventually need to replace your battery.
We recommend that you recharge and
discharge the FG-1019N completely the
first time you use it. Once the battery is
empty, repeat this step at least two times
to maximize the charger’s performance
.
5. The FG-1019N feels hot during charging,
is this normal?
This is a normal situation. Electric heat has
been generated during recharging. The
charger has over-heating protection,
which will terminate the charging process
if it becomes too hot. If you find that the
charger is unacceptably hot, please stop
using it immediately and contact our
customer service center.
6. What should I do if the cable provided
do not support one of my portable
devices?
Lifetrons provides connectors compatible
with iPod, iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy
and other mobile devices with a mini-USB
port. If you do not have the correct
connector, you may purchase it from our
website at

any other brands’ connectors without
Lifetrons authorization.
7. Can I use the original USB cable provided
by my mobile phone manufacturer
instead of using Lifetrons’?
The USB ports of the FG-1019N are
specifically designed for use with the
Lifetrons USB cable, which is compatible
with various portable devices. However,
the original USB cable provided by your
mobile phone manufacturer may be
compatible with the FG-1019N.
8. Why is the charger's LED display flashing
and my portable devices won’t charge?
This charger features built-in safety
control, protecting it from over-heating
while charging an iPad/tablet PC or other
portable device. The LED display will start
flashing and the charger will stop charging
your portable devices to prevent it from
over-heating. The charger will start
charging your portable devices again after
it has cooled down. This cycle will repeat
itself until your portable devices have been
fully charged or the charger runs out of
battery.

How to Use
A. Recharging the Power Wave Compact
Charger
The charger has already been partially
charged and is ready for use directly after
purchase. From time to time, your portable
device may completely consume the
charger’s power. When there is no LED
power, the charger needs to be recharged.
Please recharge it before you use it again.
1. To recharge, connect your charger via
the included micro-USB charging cable
to any USB port (e.g. Computer*, USB
wall charger).
2. Do not disconnect the charger before
the charging cycle is completed.
3. A white LED light will flash on the charger
to indicate the charging process. The LED
changes from rolling to solid white when
the charger is fully charged.
B. Recharging your Portable Devices
When your portable devices are running
out of battery power, you can recharge
them with the charger anytime, anywhere
without AC power supply.
1. Connect the charging cable to the USB
port and then into the portable device
you wish to charge.
2. Press the “CHECK/START” button of the
charger to start charging.
3. When no LED lights show up, the device
is out of power. If you would like to use
the charger again, please recharge it by
following the steps in part A.
*Please ensure that the computer is not in
sleep mode during charging. If you cannot
see the white dot on the FG-1019N display,
the USB probably has insufficient power to
trigger the charging process. Please try
using a different USB port. If you would like
to use a multiple USB hub for charging, make
sure it is connected to the power supply.
If you do not use your FG-1019N frequently,
please ensure that the charger is being
recharged once every four months to
maintain the best performance.
Attention:
Some portable devices may
contain a mini-USB/micro-USB port. Please
note that some mini-USB/micro-USB ports
may only support the data transfer function.
If your devices (camera, mobile phone or
others) contain a mini-USB/micro-USB port,
please read the user guide of your portable
device carefully and make sure it supports
charging functions.
Using your Portable Device while Charging
You can charge your portable device and
use it at the same time. The time it will take
to charge your portable device while using
it simultaneously may vary due to different
battery capacities. You can terminate the
charge without damaging the battery, but it
could possibly trigger an error indication
on the display. To recover this error,
please fully recharge the charger.

• Should any abnormal situations or problems
occur while using this product, discontinue
its use immediately.
• The product may explode if disposed of in
a fire.
• Immediately discontinue using this device
if an allergic reaction occurs or you feel
discomfort.
Children
Keep out of reach of children. Do not allow
children to play with your product or its
accessories. They could hurt themselves or
others and could accidentally damage the
product. Your product and its accessories
may contain small parts that could become
detached and create a choking hazard.
Disposal of Electrical and Electronic
Equipment
This symbol indicates that all electrical
and electronic equipment included with this
product should not be treated as household
waste. Instead, it should be left at the
appropriate collection point for the recycling
of electronic equipment. By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you are
helping to prevent negative consequences

FAQ’s
1. How do I know if my charger is
connected to the power supply?
A white rolling LED will flash on the
charger to indicate the charging process.
The LED changes from rolling to solid
white when the charger is fully charged.
2. How do I know if my portable device is
being charged properly?
Generally, electronic devices show icons
to indicate the charging signal. If your
electronic device has not been used or
charged for a long time, the battery may
need more power to wake it up. The
device may also take a longer time to start
up. Please verify that you are connecting
your electronic device with the suitable
connector. If you cannot configure the
charger please contact our customer
service center.
3. What should I do if my portable device
will not recharge?
Please make sure you have connected to
the FG-1019N correctly and that it has
sufficient power to charge your portable
device. Press the “CHECK/START” button
to start charging. If the battery level is
empty, please connect the FG-1019N to
any USB port with a sufficient power
supply to recharge it (USB hubs may not
provide sufficient power).
