Installation Location
Before installing the product, select an appropriate installation location for the safe use of the
product.
The Home 8 and SE Box has been certified NEMA 3R and can be installed indoors as well as outdoors.
However, if installed outdoors, do not allow the product to be exposed to water sources or
continuously exposed to sunlight or other conditions that result in a consistent operating
temperature below -10˚C (14˚F) or exceeding 45˚C (113˚F).

Power limitation phenomena in the battery (with a resulting decrease in energy production by the
system).

Premature wear of the electrical/electromechanical and mechanical components.

Reduction in performance, performance warranty, and possible damage of the battery

Install the unit considering the possibility of strong winds or earthquakes.

The system should be installed according to NFPA 855.

Do not install the product in a place where it is exposed directly to ocean winds. Sea salt in
the air may cause the product to corrode.

If the installation site is an area with heavy snowfall or a flooding area, make the foundation
as high as possible.

If the product is continuously exposed to sunlight or other conditions that result in a
consistent operating temperature below -10˚C (14˚F) or exceeding 45˚C (113˚F), it may
degrade the performance and life cycle.
