Chapter 11

Settings

Connecting a Profile

You can connect to the selected wireless LAN. After creating a profile

for connecting to the wireless LAN of your choice.

1. Press

> Settings > Profile Setting

2. Select a profile you wish to use and press .

3. After requesting the IP, the phone tries to register

with the system. Please wait for the connection to

be completed.

•

When the phone has finished connecting the

wireless LAN, you can see an

icon on the

screen in standby mode.

Managing Profiles

Shows the profile that

you are currently using.

The Managing Profiles allows you to edit, delete, and change priority

profiles.

To edit an existing profile:

1. Press

> Settings > Profile Setting

2. Select a profile you wish to edit.

3. Press

Menu

(left softkey) to display the options.

4. Select

Edit

and press .

5. Involves the same steps as creating a new profile.

Follow the applicable instructions in "To create a

new profile" on page 87.

To delete a profile:

This menu allows you to remove the profile from the profile entry.

1. Press

> Settings > Profile Setting

2. Select a profile you wish to delete.

The system default profile can not deleted from the profile entry.

3. Press

Menu

(left softkey) to display the options.

4. Select

Delete

and press .

5. Select

Yes

to confirm and press , or select

to return to the previ-

ous menu without deleting the profile.
