Chapter 11

Settings

Provisioning Setting

Provisioning is the process of equipping a software to update the

phone with new features from the system. For more details, please

contact your System Administrator.

1. Press

> Settings > Provisioning Setting

2. Enter your security code and press .

3. Enter a SIP domain in the form of a dotted quad and then press .

•

Press

to enter a dot between the number.

•

Note:

It is important this phone is correctly provisioned with emer-

gency codes. (See Appendix B for Emergency Code Provisioning &

Registration.)

Wireless LAN Setting

You can adjust a roaming level to find the best access point signal

within close proximity to each other while moving around.

1. Press

> Settings > Wireless LAN Setting

2. Enter your security code and press .

•

The preset code is "0000", use this you can access to the wireless

LAN setting menu any time.

3. Press the navigation key left or right to select a roaming level.

•

The higher the value of the roaming level can be found access
point easily. You are in network coverage, your phone attempts to

find a signal depending on the setting value.

4. Press to apply the setting.

Security

All of your phone’s security settings are available through the secu-

rity menu which helps you to protect against unauthorized users.

1. Press

> Settings > Security

2. Enter your security code and press to display the security menu.

You must enter your security code to view the security menu.

•

The preset code is "0000", use this you can access to the security
menu for the first time.

3. Security has 6 sub-menus and displayed , select one item from each
