10.2 BGM (Background Music)
Description
A music source connected to the ipLDK-60 can provide music to the speaker of a DKT speaker
as Background Music. BGM is only provided while the Station is idle. Ringing, Paging, or
going off-hook will terminate BGM.
Operation
To turn BGM On/Off,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial ‘7 3’;
3. Dial the desired BGM source (00 – 08), 00 turns BGM off.
4. Return to idle to receive Background Music from the selected source is connected.
To transmit background music to the External Page from an Attendant,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial ‘0 7 6’.
3. Dial the Background Music channel number.
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
5. After returning to idle, the selected background music is sent to the External Page
port.
To transmit background music to an Door Phone from an Attendant,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 0 7 5.
3. Dial the background music channel number.
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
5. After returning to idle, the selected background music is sent to the Door Phone.
Consideration

When External music is assigned, the music source should be connected to the system
as described in the Installation manual.

The same music source can be used for BGM and MOH.

While listening to BGM, use the Volume button to adjust the audio level.

Only one (1) BGM channel is supported.

SLT ports connected with an MOHU can be used as the music source.
