Paging Conference

Description

During a page placed over a Conference Page Zone (zones 506 ~ 510) a second station can
join the page and simultaneously transmit audio to the Conference Page Zone along with the
original paging station.

Operation

To join the Page Conference from a DKT,

1. Lift the handset.
2. Press [CONF] softkey.

To join the Page Conference from an SLT,

1.  Lift the handset.
2.  Momentarily press the hook-switch, intercom dial tone is received.
3.  Dial ‘5 8’.

Consideration



Page Time-out is not applied to a Paging Conference.



When the second party joins the Page Conference, Meet Me Page is disabled.



When the Page originator disconnects from the Page, the Page Zone(s) is returned to idle

and the second paging party is disconnected.



Any station can access a Page Conference once initiated, even if the station is denied

access to Paging.
