Power Supply Service Check

Paperfeed
Motor

Check the paperfeed motor winding resistance at
the motor connector. The pins are numbered 14 - 9,
with 14 at the top of the connector. Check the resis-
tance on four phases, each of which should have
approximately 70 Ohms resistance.

• 13 - 11
• 13 - 9
• 14 - 12
• 14 - 10

If the resistance is incorrect, replace the paperfeed
motor. If the resistance is correct, replace the logic
board.

If you replace the logic board, go to the

“Service Adjustment Mode” on page 4-4

and per-

form the print position adjustment, and the
direction offset adjustment.
