Action cards
AVENGERS BATTLE expands the rules of battle game with 6 action cards. Each player has
3 action cards which can be used once per game to unleash your best moves and take your
opponent by surprise!
Note: If you want, you can play without action cards, or with some action cards only. The
rules do not change. Just make sure that both players use the same number and type of
attack cards, to keep the game fair.
When you want to use an action, announce it at the beginning of your turn and then place the
corresponding card on a flat surface, visible to both players. Aim and time each action very
carefully, as it could make all the difference between defeat and victory!

Red side - Hawkeye’s “trick” arrow
Blue side - Thor’s Mjolnir
With this action card, you can hit 5 coordinates in the shape of a “+” sign anywhere on the
grid. When you are ready, double-press the fire/action button to trigger a special sound
effect.
• Full power: You can aim at C2 and hit B2, C1, C2, C3
and D2 and take advantage of all the power of the action
card.
• Partial power: You can also hit coordinates close to the
edge of the grid, but remember that part of the action
card will be wasted. For example, you can hit A0, B0,
B1 and C0.

Red side - Falcon’s holographic “flechettes”
Blue side - Hulk’s smashing attack
With this action card, you can hit a full line or row of your choice anywhere on the grid. When
you are ready, triple-press the fire/action button to trigger a special sound effect.
• Row: You can hit a full row such as B0 to B9.
• Column: You can hit a full column such as A3 to J3.
