Strike Board • 12V Power Supply • 12" Patch Cord (1)
•
Upgrades the Leviton Residential Intercom System with Door
Strike capability
•
Ease of wiring via patch cords into other modules
•
Will support up to 4 door strikes with screw terminal connections
•
Configurable set time delay
1.
Mount the Door Strike board onto an available spot of the SMC
mounting bracket.
2.
Connect wires from door strike and strike power supply to the
correct terminals on the terminal strip. Use terminal SW1 for door
strike in zone 1, SW2 for door strike in zone 2, etc.
3.
Adjust the jumper for connected zones to normally open (NO)
or normally close (NC) as desired. “Normally open” refers to the
contacts being open (and no current flowing) when the board is
energized. Conversely, “normally closed” means the contacts are
closed (with current flowing) when the board is energized. The
contacts are rated for 1 Amp at 125VAC/30VDC.
4.
Use the patch cord to connect output of the Intercom Main
Controller board to the input of the Door Strike board.
5.
Use the second patch cord to connect the output/aux of the Door
Strike board to the input of the Intercom Interface board.
NOTE:
It is important that the Door Strike module is connected
DIRECTLY to the Intercom Main Controller board.
6.
Set the dip switches according to the table below for the desired
DTMF tone for activation and relay activation time.
NOTE:
Chime board must be de-energized prior to changing settings.
NOTE:
The LED will blink to indicate normal operation.
NOTE:
Refer to Wiring Diagram on back page for wiring configuration.
