SYSTEM VOLTAGE REQUIREMENTS
Leviton’s Current Loop Modules, Cat. No. 3420-009 and 3420-035 are designed as
the primary line of protection from data line impulses and transients. The Loop Circuit
Modules are connected in series as a Surge Protective Device (SPD) in the data line.
Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) are intended for use in Current Loop Circuit applications. The voltage for
Cat. No. 3420- 009 SPD’s ranges from -9.0 to +9.0 VDC with a maximum continuous operating voltage of
9.2VDC. The voltage for Cat. No. 3420-035 SPD’s ranges from -35 to +35VDC with a maximum continuous
operating voltage of 38.5VDC.
