| Basic Management Tasks

Setting the System Clock

You can enable NTP authentication to ensure that reliable updates are received
from only authorized NTP servers. The authentication keys and their associated
key number must be centrally managed and manually distributed to NTP
servers and clients. The key numbers and key values must match on both the
server and client.

Polling Interval

Shows the interval between sending requests for a time

update from NTP servers. (Fixed: 1024 seconds)

Web Interface

To set the clock maintenance type to NTP:

1.

Click System, then Time.

2.

Select Configure General from the Step list.

3.

Select NTP from the Maintain Type list.

4.

Enable authentication if required.

5.

Click Apply

NTP/SNTP time servers, or to set the authentication key for NTP time servers.
