4.5.1
Controlled gating end
With interruption of the gating by the control, the distance between the protective field and transport mate-
rial that exists at the end of the gating function can be minimized.
The controlled gating end is used to maintain the necessary distance of less than 200 mm between trans-
port material and protective field at the end of gating.
• The initiated gating sequence is ended upon removal of the CS switching signal.
• The CS switching signal must not be removed until the protective field is clear (PFI signal).
• The gating sequence ends maximum 100 ms after removal of the CS switching signal.
