8.2.3 RS 232 service interface – X33

The X33 RS 232 interface facilitates the configuration of the Leuze device and the MA 238

i

 via PC, which 

is connected by means of a serial null modem cable.

8.2.4 S10 service switch

The S10 DIP switch can be used to select between the "operation" and "service" modes, i.e. you switch 

between the following options here:

• Operation (RUN) = default setting
• Service Leuze device (DEV) and
• Service fieldbus gateway (MA)

8.2.5 Rotary switch S4 for device selection

The S4 rotary switch is used to select the Leuze end device.
