Process data settings (group 6)
Procedure:
1. Write index 0x48
2. Write index 0xC0
After the last desired process data mapping, index 0xC0 is to be filled with the value 0. The position of the
last process data mapping determines the length of the AutoSend telegram.
Cascading/trigger settings (group 7)
The process data settings describe the cyclically transmitted process data.

For reasons of backwards compatibility with earlier device versions, the “Save” command saves
extended process data settings in volatile memory. If more than 16 evaluation functions are
required, this parameter must be written by the control unit each time the device is restarted.
To prevent mutual interference, multiple light curtains can be operated with a time offset with
respect to one another (cascade). Here, the master generates the cyclical trigger signal; the
slaves start their measurement after delay times, which are to be set to different values.
