XML-based communication

You can send commands for control and configuration directly to the code reader via XML-based communi-
cation.

• The code reader must be connected to a computer (host) via the Ethernet interface (see chapter 8.3.4

"Ethernet host communication").

• The code reader is designed as an XML server and communicates on port 10004.

You can find detailed information on XML-based communication on the Leuze home page:
