series were developed, manufactured and tested in
accordance with the applicable safety standards. They correspond to the state of the art.

The protection of personnel and the device cannot be guaranteed if the device is operated
in a manner not complying with its intended use.
Bar code readers of the BCL 500

series are conceived as stationary, high-speed scanners
with integrated decoders for all current bar codes used for automatic object detection.
In particular, unauthorized uses include:
• In rooms with explosive atmospheres
• Operation for medical purposes
