Preface and general information

About these Instructions
This EMC brochure is based on the Operating Instructions of the basic device and the different
PROFIBUS modules.
It is intended for all persons who design and install the ”PROFIBUS DP” fieldbus function module.
It describes special measures to set up a CE-typical drive system with the ”PROFIBUS DP”
fieldbus function module and the 8200 vector frequency inverter.
If the measures described here are executed in a complete and correct way, the following can
be assured:
– The 8200 frequency inverter does not radiate any EMC interferences.
– The operation of the bus system is not influenced by any EMC interferences.
