Chapter 4 Using the On-Screen Display Interface

Viewing Firmware Version

You can check the current versions of OSD and USB driver implemented on the 1754-A1T K VM

switch.

Viewing the current frmware version

1. If the OSD is not displayed, press the hot key 3 times.



The default hot key is 'Scroll Lock.' To change it, see

System Settings

page 2

2. On the Selection Menu, press F5. The frmware information displays.

3. Press Esc to exit

Resetting to Factory Defaults

You can clear current system settings and have all settings return to factory defaults. The

following settings will be reset:

•

All settings on the SETUP page.

•

All user accounts on the User Confguration page.

Restoring factory defaults does NOT require the administrator permission.

Exception:

Channel names are stored on the connected 1754-A1T KVM cables so they are

NOT reset to factory defaults.

Resetting system settings

1. Log out to show the Login screen. See

Logout

page 15

2. Press Ctrl + Shift + F10. The following message appears.

3. Press Enter to proceed with the factory reset. The following message appears.



Press Esc in order to cancel out of this selection.

4. Wait until the Login screen re-appears, indicating the reset is completed.
