Use the instructions shipped with the option to help you make the connection and install any software
or device drivers that are required for the option.

Replacing the power adapter

Attention:

Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter

1 “Read this first: Important safety information” on page 1.

To replace the power adapter, do the following:

1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect

all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.

2. If the power adapter bracket is available, remove the power adapter bracket. See “Replacing the

power adapter bracket” on page 85.

3. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.
