Rear-Facing Imager Lens and Deco Removal
NOTE
The Rear-Facing Imager Lens and
the Imager Deco can be recovered
and reused after removal. Do not
replace unless necessary.
1.
Set the Heating Plate to 80 °C (176 °F).
2.
Place the Rear Housing face-down on the
Heating plate for 3 minutes.
Rear-Facing Imager Lens Removal
// CAUTION //
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
NOTE
Perform the Rear-Facing Imager Lens removal
procedure before the phone starts to cool off.
1.
Use the pointed end of the Blackstick to push
the Rear-Facing Imager Lens from the Rear-
Facing Imager Deco.
2.
Use the Tweezers to remove the Conductive
Foam from the Rear-Facing Imager Deco.
NOTE
Remove the Conductive Foam on the
Rear-Facing Imager Deco only if
necessary. After you remove it, you
cannot reuse it..
