4. Remove the power connecting board as shown.

5. Record the cable routing and cable connections, and then disconnect all cables from the I/O board.

6. Remove the I/O board as shown.

7. Install the new I/O board.

8. Route all the cables that you disconnected from the failing I/O board, and then connect the cables to

the new I/O board. See “Parts on the main boards” on page 20.

9. Reinstall the power connecting board.

10. Reinstall the I/O board shield. See “Replacing the I/O board shield” on page 26.
