Recovering from a Failed Image Upgrade using XModem Download

Use

the

following

procedure

recover

from

failed

image

upgrade.

Connect

the

serial

port

the

switch.

Open

terminal

emulator

program

that

supports

Xmodem

download

(for

example,

HyperTerminal,

SecureCRT

PuTTY)

and

select

the

following

serial

port

characteristics:





Data

Bits:

Stop

None



Flow

Control:

None

Boot

the

switch

and

access

the

Boot

Management

Test

and
