CN4093 Application Guide for N/OS 8.4

Flexible Port Mapping in Stacking

Flexible

Port

Mapping

allows

administrators

manually

enable

disable

specific

switch

ports

within

the

limitations

the

installed

licenses’

bandwidth.

For

details,

see

stacking,

there

are

overall

bandwidth

restrictions.

Instead,

each

switch

the

stack

that

supports

licensing

has

bandwidth

restrictions

determined

its

license

level.

Commands

associated

with

flexible

port

mapping

can

only

run

from

the

master

switch

the

stack

and

can

have

additional

parameter:



[no] boot port-map

Adds

removes

ports

stack

switch

to/from

the

port

map

specifying

the

switch’s

configured

number

and

port

number

range

ports.

For

example:

Resets
