Prerequisite

Before you start, read Chapter 2 “Important safety information” on page 27 and print the following 
instructions.

Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is 
cool.

Replacement procedure

1.  Remove the computer stand. See “Computer stand” on page 57.

2.  Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 59.

3.  Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the system board.

4.  Remove the internal speakers.

5.  Install the new internal speakers.
