Remove the CMOS battery

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the lower case” on page 30

“Remove the solid-state drive (SSD) module” on page 31

“Remove the battery pack” on page 33

Step 1. Disconnect the CMOS battery cable from the system board. Peel off the mylar and then remove the

CMOS battery.
