25-2 Preparing the Tractor

Splendimo 550 P

ONTROLS

AMILIARITY

The tractor power takeoff (PTO) control engages and disengages power to mechanically driven components
including gearboxes and cutter blades.

The tractor hydraulic controls raise/lower cutter bars, swing mower from side to side, and fold/unfold cutter
bars between transport and operating position.

Refer to tractor operator’s manual for control locations and operation instructions.

PTO Length

NOTICE:

Failure to conform to standards for PTO setup dimensions can result in

PTO shaft damage.

The horizontal distance from end of PTO shaft to centerline of 3-point lower link
hitch points should be 46–56 cm.

If the distance is less than 46 cm, use a Quick Attach hitch to increase distance
to hitch points.

Sway Blocks - Adjust

Adjust lift arm anti-sway blocks

(1)

to eliminate arm swing. Minimum distance

between insides of hitch points should be 83 cm.
