PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ANY USE OF
THE DEHUMIDIFERS - AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Each unit contains water glass technology crystals.
Water glass is a very absorbent substance that has an absorption rate much
higher than traditional soluble humidity absorbing products. It is odourless and
will not re-release moisture back into the air. This new water glass technology
is the most efficient way to absorb excess moisture.
The “Recharging” nature of this product is simply to dry out the crystals when
they indicate maximum moisture absorbtion (i.e. Pink).
As the crystals absorb water they change colour from BLUE to PINK.
Simply plug in to begin the drying process, when the crystals are BLUE
the unit is “Recharged”.
Please Note: There are NO illuminated LED’s on this unit.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check the moisture levels of the crystals in the window on the unit,
if they are “Blue/Black” in colour,
recharging is NOT required.
If the crystals appear Pink follow steps 5 & 6 below.
2. To use the dehumidifiers place the units where you require moisture to be
eliminated, please ensure the units are not covered.
3. Periodically check the units (every 2-3 weeks), when the crystals indicate
they are wet (i.e. Pink) they will have absorbed their maximum amount of
water. The units will now need re-charging
to dry-out.
4. Shake the units to separate the crystals.
5.
Ensure each unit is an upright position,
when the unit is being
re-charged and out of reach of children.
The power point is on the base
so the unit, so it re-charges upside down
. Re-charge the units in
a suitable and a well ventilated location. The units will heat up
during the drying-out process.
6. Plug the charging cable in to the unit, then plug in to a mains plug socket
for between 15-24 hours or until water glass crystals indicate they are dry
(i.e. Blue), during charging periodically shake the crystals to ensure even
drying, when drying is complete unplug the units and replace the units in
the required position as previously.
