Bring the microscope carrier into transport position as below 
picture shown. During this process still maintaining the 
microscope carrier offset as above step.

Ensure that the PROVIDO is in the transport position.

 

X

Bring swing arm into transport position.

 

X

Release the ALL-FREE button.

 

X

Shut off the instrument and disconnect it from the power 
supply.

 

X

Hook the cable on the handrail (5).

 

X

Release the foot brakes (7) by depressing the foot lever (6).

 

X

Move the PROVIDO by the handrail (5).

7.2  Locking/unlocking the 

PROVIDO

7.2.1  Locking the parallelogram

WARNING
Risk of injury due to downward movement of the surgical 
microscope!

 

X

Always lock the parallelogram:

•  when transporting the microscope

•  when re-equipping

CAUTION
There is a risk of damage to the surgical microscope from 
uncontrolled tilting!

 

X

Firmly hold the handles before triggering the 
"All Brakes" function.

 

X

Pull the transport lock (1) and bring it into a horizontal position.

 

X

Hold and turn one or both handles to release the brakes 
(All Brakes).

 

X

Move the parallelogram up and down until the transport lock 
engages.

The parallelogram is now locked.
