MENU CONTROL
Many settings on the camera are controlled using menu control.
Entry into menu control varies, depending on whether the menu
items have been assigned to the
FAVORITES
menu or not:
In the factory setting, and whenever at least one menu item has
been assigned to this menu area, it acts as the ‘Start Page’, i.e. in
these cases enter via this
FAVORITES
menu.
The ‘main area’ of the menu - the
MAIN MENU
- always contains all
menu options. In the cases outlined above, it can only be accessed
from the
FAVORITES
menu. However, if no menu option has been
assigned to the latter, entry is direct to the
MAIN MENU
.
You can assign up to 7 of the 26 menu options from the
MAIN MENU
to the
FAVORITES
menu. This enables the most frequently used
menu options to be accessed and set especially quickly and easily.
Details about this menu option can be found on the following pag-
es.
The relevant settings or setting steps of the menu options are
made in the same way in both menus. When the camera is turned
on, an overview of the relevant settings and step-by-step instruc-
tions for setting these options can be viewed in the monitor
