Batteries
WARNING
Short circuit of battery terminals
If battery terminals are short circuited e.g. by coming in contact with jewellery,
keys, metallised paper or other metals, the battery can overheat and cause
injury or fire, for example by storing or transporting in pockets.
Precautions:

Make sure that the battery terminals do not come into contact with metal-
lic objects.
Use the transmitters with an authorised rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack.

Locators Batteries
The DD120 series and DD130 series Locators are fitted with six LR6 (AA) alka-
line batteries

Replace or recharge the batteries
when the battery status indicator is
empty.
2.
Press the release button to unlock
the Battery Hatch. Remove the bat-
tery holder from the Locator.
3.
Replace all batteries with six new LR6
(AA) type alkaline batteries, or
remove and recharge the battery
pack if rechargeable batteries are fit-
ted.

Charging the Li-Ion Battery Pack

If the battery pack of the signal transmitter is low and needs to be
recharged, the Low Battery LED indicator illuminates red.

The cover of the battery compartment also serves as cover for the
USB port. To maintain environmental protection open the cover only
in dry conditions. Always close the cover of the battery compartment
after use.
