2.3.4 Auto-Sequence table
Auto-sequencing is when presets are activated in sequence, repeatedly, based on the preset number.
The last auto-sequence preset number must be greater than the first. The fade times between presets in
the auto-sequence is the same as the fade times for the individual presets except that the minimum fade
time is one second.
2.4 Configure Zones & DMX
2.4.1 Zone types
Zone type is set according to what kind of light fixture the zone controls and what DMX channels are
needed to control it. If a light has an intensity channel (I), the DTM-MA can output intensity levels to
this channel. For color lights without an intensity channel, the DTM-MA uses 'virtual intensity', where
all the individual color channels (R, G, B, x, y) are scaled by the intensity.
In addition to RGB, color lights may also include amber, white, or other channels to control. Up to
two additional channels may be controlled. These are represented by 'x' and 'y'. As a hint, the number
of character in an RGB zone type word corresponds to the number and order of DMX channels needed
for that type. All colors are 8 bits.
With the RGB zone types, one zone controls a light with DMX channels for R, G, B, and up to 2 more
channels. This is the most efficient use of zones but it is optional. Color lights can also be controlled
with multiple zones, where each zone controls a DMX channel. Do this when you want individual
zone control of red, green, and blue channels and when a light has color temperature, hue, saturation,
or other DMX channels. The single-channel zone types at the end of the following list will be seen on
the station's touchscreen slider with a color appropriate slider 'thumb'. For example, a 'red' zone type
will have a red slider thumb.
