DESCRIPTION:
This device is a Qi-Certified integrated wireless charger. It
provides 1A total DC power at 5V for charging phones equipped with a Qi
receiver. The wireless charger is intended for charging purposes only and is
not intended for data transfer.
Qi STANDARD:
• Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the global standard for compatible
wireless charging.
• Just like Bluetooth
®
set the standard for exchanging data over short
distances or Wi-Fi™ set the standard for wireless networking, Qi sets the
standard for wireless charging.
• To charge, you just place a Qi-enabled device on a Qi charging surface,
there are no cords to plug into the phone.

HOW Qi WORKS:
• Qi works by generating a safe
electromagnetic field between a
charger and a device through a
well-established process called
magnetic induction. Magnetic
induction has been used for more
than a century to make power
transformers.
• Qi chargers have a built-in
transmitting coil that intelligently
communicates with Qi devices
using a specific electromagnetic
frequency, so any Qi device will
work with any Qi charger, now and
in the future.
INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Select the “US” plug adapter shown In Fig. 1 and attach
to the power supply – align tabs with slots, push down
and rotate clockwise until it clicks (locks). NOTE: Use
only the power supply and the cord supplied in the box.
2) Cut mounting hole using 3-1/8” (80mm) hole saw. See Fig. 2.
2) Adhere the “Wireless Charging Station” decorator ring shown in Fig. 1 to
the top side of the mounting hole (if desired)
3) Insert the hex head of the plastic mounting bolt into the bottom side slot
of the wireless charger. See Fig. 3.
4) Install as shown in Figures 3-5.
5) Connect power.
6) Place device on charging pad and refer to chart below for LED operation.
