Flight settings recommendations:
Futaba:
Set Reverse Throttle. Set Channel 5 for flight mode selection.
Spektrum:
Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Gear channels set to Reverse. Set Gear for flight mode
selection.
JR PROPO:
Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Gear channels set to Reverse. Set Gear to for flight
mode selection. Use Mode B for Bus type in your radio menu.
Flight control board LED Indicator
Green LED constant on - Idle mode (Standby mode)
Green LED fast flash - Manual mode (3D mode)
Green LED slow flash- Attitude Mode
Red LED constant on - transmitter signal search.
4. Flight settings and adjustments
a)
Using
transmitter’s Aileron, Elevator, Rudder endpoints and expo, adjust manual
mode roll rate. Higher endpoints will yield faster roll rate.
b)
Set Throttle endpoints higher for more sensitive throttle input. For manual mode,
highest throttle endpoints is recommended.
Flight operation:
From Idle Mode, switch to either Manual mode (3D mode) or Attitude Mode.
Slowly increase Throttle and the LED lights on the arms will flash rapidly. Keep
increasing the throttle slowly until the LED lights turn constantly on. Once the LED
lights on the arms are on constant, the quad is ready for taking off.
Power down:
Find a safe area for landing and switch to Idle mode once landed. This will
power down all motors.
Attention:
Throttle stick above mid-stick will give positive lift. Mid-and below will give
negative lift.
