Boom type and cross-section:

These very rigid booms are made up of a carbon tube coated with anti-

shock foam encased in a “sock”

that is highly resistant to tearing and fitted with reflecting bands. This boom is especially suitable in
lanes where impacts with vehicles occur frequently, as it only breaks when a vehicle gets stuck or under
very violent impact, it does not twist and has the advantage of not damaging the vehicle that hits it.
