Qualified staff 

Use,  even  compliant,  of  the  barrier  by  an  unqualified  employee  may  result  in 
hazardous situations and risks of serious injuries. 

 

The following staff are considered as qualified: 

► 

Staff trained

 by the operator on the tasks entrusted to them and on the potential risks

 

► 

Staff qualified in electrical engineering

 who are able to carry out work on electrical 

installations and recognise the potential risks

 

► 

“La Barrière Automatique” maintenance staff

 who are selected, trained and authorised 

by “La Barrière Automatique” to carry out servicing and maintenance work on barriers

 

 

2.6 

Hazardous area 

The  barrier  powered  on  may  start  to  move  and  therefore  constitute  a  hazardous  element  causing 
crushing and/or cutting risks. 

Any unqualified employee must remain at a safe distance of at least 50 cm from the barrier.

Each barrier has an identification plate fixed on the housing that indicates the barrier type, serial number
