Access to Control Surface Parameters
The "
VisChan
" branch of the 'Tree Definition' names the physical controls on a control surface so that they can
be mapped to VisTool Button elements in the
VisTool Editor
. This allows physical MF Keys, and displays such
as signal present, to be mirrored on a VisTool operating screen.
You must enter a unique reference name for each control you wish to access. Then save the configuration, and
link it to
VisTool Editor
(using the Project Properties). Within
VisTool Editor
, you will find all named functions
under the corresponding drop-down menus when you define an element's function - for example, named MF Keys
appear under the
MF Key
branch when defining a VisTool Button element.
The following controls can be named in the ‘Tree Definition’. Note that you will need to repeat the procedure for
each Fader Module you wish to access.
