Operating Procedures

lator.  If the mower cuts without scalping, the Articulator should be able to handle the
area.

However, there are important guidelines to follow when cutting severe contours or side
hills:

l

Never exceed the tractor manufacturer’s maximum side slope ratings.

l

Always use tractors with a ROPS.

l

Always wear your seatbelt.

l

Do not operate the Articulator in areas which are so severely contoured as to cause
PTO shaft chatter.

4.6

Cutting Wet Grass

Operation of the Articulator is not adversely affected by wet cutting conditions.  However,
a slower ground speed is recommended for improved grass discharge and reduced turf
tear.
