Error Messages

If an error is encountered, an error message will be output instead of the #OK message.

= 1 = Command syntax error (unrecognized character etc.)

*Try to enter command again.

2 = Memory checksum failure

*If you see this code, try cycling the power OFF and

ON, and then repeat the measurement. If the error

persists, please contact Laser Technology, Inc. for

assistance.

3 = Instrument is in Index Mode

*Rotate the unit to set the index

4 = Instrument is in Backsight Mode

*Set the non-zero backsight or cancel Backsight Mode.
