POWER
This spotlight operates on either 12V or 24V DC power. Spotlight can be plugged into cigarette plug
sockets, attached directly to 12 volt batteries, 24 V battery systems, etc. A single hot and ground wire
brings power to the unit. Cords and other wiring means should route through the 2 pin Deutsch
connectors. A single coil cord with cigarette plug terminated with a 2 pin Deutsch plug is provided.
BEAM ADJUSTMENT

The lens/reflector assembly is on a center threaded post. Rotating the lens/reflector causes the
beam to expand or contract. Counterclockwise rotation creates a wider flood. Clockwise rotation
creates a narrower, longer spot beam.

The lens/reflector assembly can be removed completely to change to the red lens or change the
bulb.
BULB REPLACEMENT
1.
Remove the lens/reflector assembly by rotating counterclockwise until fully unthreaded. Pull the
assembly out away from the light to remove.
2.
Unscrew the ring holding the bulb in place.
3.
Remove the 4 screws holding the top cover in place. The screws are accessed from the
underside.

Remove the top cover. Set the ballast aside. Remove the 4 screws at the base of the ballast box
housing
5.
Slide back the protective sheath and expose the bullet connectors for the 2 leads coming from
the HID bulb. Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the bulb from the housing.
6.
Inserting the wire leads first, place the new bulb in the same position as the old bulb.
7.
Reconnect the bullet connections.
8.
Replace the 4 screws at the base of the ballast box.
9.
Replace the ballast, positioning the wires in the same manner as when first opened.
10.
Replace the 4 screws that hold the ballast box cover in place.
11.
Replace chrome bulb holding ring.
TO CHANGE THE BALLAST/STARTER
1.
Remove the 4 screws holding the top cover in place. The screws are accessed from the
underside.
