Thank you for your purchase of the Larson Electronics HAL-RSL Series LED Rope Light.

TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK:

ATMOSPHERE.

DO NOT OPERATE IN AMBIENT TEMPERATURES ABOVE THOSE INDICATED ON THE PRODUCT
NAMEPLATE.

DO NOT OPERATE IF THE LENS, CORD, SEALS, HOUSING, RECEPTACLES, ETC. IS CRACKED OR
DAMAGED. IF SO, DISCONTINUE USE AND CONTACT MANUFACTURER FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS.

ALL FASTENERS SHOULD BE PROPERLY SEATED.
The HAL-RSL Series from Larson Electronics is a Round 2-wire LED Rope Light that is rated for use in Class I Division 2
suitable for marine applications, including boat docks, ship yards and perimeter lighting systems in hazardous area
locations. The weatherproof luminary is available in many different lengths and emits a beam of light available in red, blue,
green, amber or purple output.
Mounting
We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product,
in all locations, especially in outdoor areas where
weatherproofing may be required, and in hazardous area locations.
Always follow all applicable local and national
electrical and building code when installing.
The rope light can be mounted in many different ways, such as with mounting clips or hangars, and should be mounted a
minimum of 12 feet above the hazardous area, such as in a tunnel or paint spray booth. Mounting specifics are left to the
end user, as there are many possible applications. Some models will feature a junction box with seal-offs and surface
mounting brackets that will also need to be mounted to a flat surface, such as a wall or ceiling. Be sure lights are secure
and mounted in a way that is capable of supporting the load, near enough to supply power, and follow all applicable local
and national electrical code when installing.

Warning:
Check product label for correct input voltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as shown
in the
applicable
diagram
Secure each pair of wires according to the diagram. Utilize a junction box or
similar device and take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections
if installed in a location where water may come in contact with the unit. Ensure the
unit is properly grounded and that wiring is done according to all local and national
electrical/building codes.
