Instruction Manual
Do not attempt operation until you are familiar with all warnings, precautions, and procedures outlined within this
instruction sheet.
Read carefully before operating. Retain these instructions for future reference.
WARNING:
This fixture is not factory sealed.
This fixture is designed to be used in a explosion proof environment.
Ensure periodic inspections to be sure that the fixture is still fully functional.
To avoid the risk of fire, explosion, or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected, and maintained by a
qualified electrician only in accordance with all applicable electrical codes.
Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment-grounding conductor.
Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire voltage.
The technical data indicated on the LED luminares are to be observed.
Changes of the design and modifications to the LED luminare are not permitted.
Observe the national electrical safety rules and regulations during installation.
Installing the EPL

This EPL
C2
-EMG-HB-150LED-RT comes preconfigured with a backup battery and two run configurations. The light can
be wired to accommodate Incoming Power while not emitting any visible light until the incoming power is stopped. IE:
Emergency Only Mode. However, the light also can be wired to provide visible light with or without incoming power. This
ensures that the light will operate in all conditions. IE: Backup Supported Mode

Emergency Only Mode Instructions
– Wire the “Neutral”, “Hot”, and “Ground” wires normally. Leave the “Switch”
wire unconnected and terminated.
2.
Backup Supported Mode
– Wire the “Neutral”, “Hot”, and “Ground” wires normally. Wire the “Switch” wire in with
the
“Hot” wire.
