Thank you for your purchase of the Larson Electronics EPL-PM-150LED Portable Explosion Proof LED Light.
Please follow the steps below in order to operate and maintain this product.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING THIS FIXTURE. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE. THE
EPL-BS-161M
MUST BE OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE
AND ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL CODES. PROPER GROUNDING IS REQUIRED FOR SAFETY.
FOR PERSONAL SAFETY, ALWAYS CONFIRM THE RATING OF ANY KNOWN HAZARDOUS OR POTENTIALLY
HAZARDOUS LOCATION WHERE THE LIGHT IS TO BE USED.

TEMPERATURE RESTRICTIONS AND NEC CLASSIFICATIONS. CHECK THE FIXTURE’S METAL NAMEPLATE FOR
TEMPERATURE (T) RATINGS.

INSTALLATION OR REPAIR.

OPERATING
Before operation, confirm that the power source will provide the correct voltage indicated on the product
nameplate. Ensure the receptacle will accept the cord cap attached to the light.
Check product nameplate for Ratings and Approvals.
Place the light in the desired location and run its power cord to a power source. Ensure all safety requirements
are followed for the hazardous area.
The light head can be adjusted by loosening the hand screws on each side, positioning the
light head and tightening the hand screws to hold the light in place.
This light is “instant-on” once plugged in to a live circuit.
AVOID DIRECT EYE EXPOSURE
Do not look at the face of or directly into the light when plugging in or when
illuminated.
