2-19.8 DSCP-Based QoS

This page lets you configure basic QoS DSCP based QoS Ingress Classification parameters.

To configure the DSCP –Based QoS Ingress Classification via the web UI:

1. Click Configuration, QoS, DSCP-Based QoS.

2. Enable or disable the DSCP for Trust.

3. Scroll to select QoS Class and DPL parameters.

4. Click Apply to save the settings.

5. To cancel the settings, click the Reset button. The page will revert to previously saved values.

Parameter descriptions:
DSCP:

Maximum number of supported DSCP values are 64.

Trust:

Click to check if the DSCP value is trusted. Controls whether a specific DSCP value is trusted. Only

frames with trusted DSCP values are mapped to a specific QoS class and Drop Precedence Level.

Frames with untrusted DSCP values are treated as a non-IP frame.

QoS Class:

QoS Class value can be 0-7.

DPL:

Drop Precedence Level (0 or 1).
