2-5.3 AAA
This section lets you configure an AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) server to provide
access control to your network. The AAA server can be a or RADIUS server to create and
manage objects that contain settings for using AAA servers.
2-5.3.1 RADIUS
To configure RADIUS via the web UI:
1. Navigate to Configuration > Security > AAA > RADIUS.
2. Enter the Global Configuration parameters.
3. Click the Add New Server button and enter the Server Configuration parameters.
4. Click the Apply button.

Parameter descriptions:
Global Configuration:
These settings are common for all RADIUS servers.
Timeout:
Timeout is the number of seconds, in the range 1 to 1000, to wait for a reply from a RADIUS
server before retransmitting the request.
Retransmit:
Retransmit is the number of times, in the range 1 to 1000, a RADIUS request is retransmitted
to a server that is not responding. If the server has not responded after the last retransmit it is considered
to be dead.
