3-7 Loop Protection

This page displays the loop protection port status for the ports of the switch. To display Loop Protection

status in the web UI:

1.  Click Monitor, Loop Protection.
2.  To automatically refresh the page, check the “Auto refresh” checkbox.
3.  Click “Refresh” to refresh the statistics.

Parameter descriptions:
Port:

The switch port number of the logical port.

Action:

The currently configured port action (Log Only, Shutdown, or SLog).

Transmit:

The currently configured port transmit mode (Enabled or Disabled).

Loops:

The number of loops detected on this port.

Status:

The current loop protection status of the port (Up or Down).

Loop:

Whether a loop is currently detected on the port.

Time of Last Loop:

The time of the last loop event detected.

Buttons

Auto-refresh:

Check this box to enable an automatic refresh of the page every 3 seconds.

Refresh:

Click to manually refresh the page immediately.
