If your PC is configured correctly, the switch Login page displays as shown in the figure below.
Web Interface Login page
If you do not see the above Login page, perform these steps:
- Refresh the web page.
- Check for an IP address conflict issue.
- Clear browser cookies and temporary internet files.
- Check your PC settings again and repeat step 2.

Connect and Log In to the Switch Using the CLI
Access to the Switch is protected by a logon security system. You can log on to the switch with the user name
and password. After a failed logon attempt, the system displays
Wrong username or password!
. After you log on,
the system monitors the interface for periods of inactivity. If the interface is inactive for too long, you are
automatically logged off. The CLI initial user name and password is admin. You should change the password as
soon as possible, because the initial password is known to anyone who reads this manual. You can also change
the user name or add additional user names.
1. Use an RJ-45 cable to connect a terminal or PC/terminal emulator to the switch port to access the CLI.
2. Attach the RJ-45 serial port on the switch front panel to the cable for Telnet/CLI configuration.
3. Attach the other end of the DB-9 cable to a PC running Telnet or a terminal emulation program such as
HyperTerminal or Tera Term.
4. Use Console port settings Baud rate: 115200bps, Data bit: 8, Parity: None, Stop bit: 1 Flow control: none.
Telnet Port 23. SSH Port 22.
