Change Privpass

6.43    Change Privpass

Sets the password needed to become the privileged user of the MSS.The user will be prompted to 
enter a new password of no more than six alphanumeric characters. This password will not be 
displayed when typed.

Restrictions

Requires privileged user status.

Default

6.44    Change RARP

Disables or enables querying for a RARP host at system boot time.

6.45    Change Retransmit Limit

Specifies the number of retries attempted if a network message receives no acknowledgment. This 
limit may have to be increased on especially noisy or heavily-used networks.

6.46    Change Rlogin

Restricts the use of the Rlogin command from the server. When disabled, incoming Rlogin 
connections are permitted, but users may not log into remote hosts. To view the current status of 
Rlogin connections, enter the Show Server command.
